Pakistan Condemns Israel at Islamic Summit | Calls for Two-State Solution & UN Action

Today, we bring you a powerful statement delivered by Pakistan’s leadership at an extraordinary gathering of world leaders. In his address, the Prime Minister strongly condemned Israel’s recent actions against Qatar, calling them a clear violation of international law and an attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent state.

The Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the people and leadership of Qatar, highlighting that the assault on Doha was not an isolated incident, but part of what he described as Israel’s hegemonic ambitions in the region.

He emphasized the vital role of peace mediators in times of conflict, stressing that Qatar’s tireless diplomatic efforts—led by the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani—have consistently worked to bridge divides and promote regional and global peace, even under the most difficult circumstances.

Turning to Gaza, the Prime Minister delivered an emotional message, describing the heart-wrenching cries of innocent women and children, and sharing the tragic story of a 10-year-old boy who walked barefoot for miles in search of food, only to be shot down by Israeli forces. He stated that Israel’s ongoing campaign has reduced Gaza to rubble, leaving the scars of genocide on the very soul of humanity.

The Prime Minister called this an unbearable level of injustice that must stop immediately. He outlined urgent steps, including:

  • Holding Israel accountable for war crimes.

  • Creating an Arab-Islamic task force to adopt effective measures against Israeli aggression.

  • Suspending Israel’s membership in the United Nations.

  • Demanding an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire.

  • Ensuring the release of hostages and Palestinian prisoners.

  • Guaranteeing secure humanitarian access for civilians, aid workers, journalists, and medical teams.

Above all, he reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to a just and lasting two-state solution with an independent State of Palestine along the pre-1967 borders, and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

In closing, he urged Muslim leaders and the international community to stand united, with dignity and courage, against injustice and aggression. He reminded the world that history will remember this moment—when the Islamic world chose solidarity over silence.
